Practice information
Last Updated: Wednesday, 02 July 2025Welcome to Concept House and Sefton Road Surgery
We are proud to operate as a dedicated partnership committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. Our team comprises Dr. Gustavo Berni, Dr. Hannah Brooks, and Dr. Massimo Gozzelino, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our practice. Together, we strive to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care, ensuring the well-being of our patients is at the heart of everything we do.
The practice employs two full-time and two part-time salaried GPs, a Practice Nurse, and Health Care Assistants. Additionally, the District Nurse team provides care in the community for our patients.
We serve around 5,800 patients and are fully computerised, which means hospital letters, lab results, and all clinical information are transmitted and stored electronically, ensuring that patients’ medical records are secure, accurate, and easy to access.
Dr. David Goldberg retired as Principal GP at the end of June 2025 after many years of dedicated service to our practice. We are pleased to share that Dr. Goldberg will be returning to the surgery as a locum, continuing to support our patients and team.
Access and Facilities
There is a small car park in front of both surgeries for patient parking, with a disabled parking space and a ramp to the front door for wheelchair access. If it is difficult for your to open the door at Concept House, please ring the bell and a receptionist will help. Sefton Road have automatic doors. We have installed an induction loop at the counter to help people with hearing aids. All surgeries and treatment rooms are on the ground floor and easily accessible by wheelchair, and the disabled toilet is located in the hallway.
Clinicians
We are a small and friendly surgery with 4 partner GPs, as well as regular sessional GPs, GP Registrars and Foundation Doctors working at the practice. In addition to the doctors, we have an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who works with us from time to time, who can help with minor ailments and prescribe and refer as appropriate.
