Teaching and Training
Concept House and Sefton Road Surgery provides placements for doctors undertaking their Foundation Programme, but what exactly is a Foundation Year 2 (F2) Trainee?
- They are a qualified doctor but only have provisional registration with the General Medical Council
- They have successfully completed their first year during which they gain 12 months clinical experience as a doctor in a hospital setting
F2 doctors join us on 4 monthly rotations and will see patient independent, under the close supervision of their supervisor.
We also from time to time have other colleagues such as District Nurses training with us, we will always inform you and give you the choice to be seen on your own if you wish.
